So I was reading through the comment spam logs because it was that or doing the work I have to hand in tomorrow and I came across one which actually seemed to have a point behind it, and was not, in other words, a series of links to pornography.
Specifically it was a chain letter of sorts, referring to this website.
The overall story here is that (apparently, at least, though of course it’s the internet and you never really know) someone or other is circulating a poem proposing to someone named Mary. And eventually, the story goes, she will find out that this is happening and … he’ll do something else. I don’t really know what the overall idea behind this is, and I’m not sure it’s a particularly good idea (though not as bad as this one). But I do have a copy of the poem for you all to enjoy:
My angel,
Five years ago, I will always remember the day
When fate made us meet, blissful Alaskan moments in May
Earth spun around us and a journey began
Love, warmth, happiness, enough the years to span.
The longer it lasts the more grows our bond
